Patrick Danse developed his approach to editing while studying post-production in CEV - Escuela Superior de Comunicación, Imagen y Sonido en Madrid (2005-2006). In tandem to his formal studies, Danse attended several workshops in the field while also making experimental cinema in Barcelona and Brussels.
Patrick has been an editor for over thirteen years with experience in diverse fields including fiction feature films, documentaries, commercial advertisements (internet, television), and music videos. Danse has contributed to several projects which have won prizes in International festivals including his most recent, “Oso Polar”, which garnered several awards internationally including best feature film in Festival Internacional de Cine de Morelia (2017).
He’s currently working on a feature length documentary film on the collaboration between iconic U.S. music composer Philip Glass and the indiginous Mexican Wixaxicas, as well as several TV shows for Netflix and TNT.
