Ana García completed her professional studies at the Centro de Capacitación Cinematografica (1996-2004 Mexico City) and the ENAP National School of Plastic Arts UNAM- Degree in Visual Arts (1999-2005 Mexico City).
She specialized in Post Production Design in Graphic Moving Image at LCC- University of the Arts, London UK (2006-2008).
She has been working as an editor ever since. For 16 years she has stood out as one of the most prolific in the Mexican industry.
She emphasizes her extensive experience in all formats: cinema, video-installation, advertising and more recently in television, collaborating in works such as “Big Little Lies”, “Orange is the New Black”, “Top Boy” among others.
But it is in the cinema where her work as an editor has been most appreciated, editing more than 20 powerful projects, both in the documentary field and in fiction, Some examples are the multi-award-winning feature films "Güeros" (Prize for the Best Debut Feature at the Berlin Festival) or "White Soldier" (Erick Zonca- TV movie), or the most recent "An Island in the Continent”, still to be released.
